Has anyone ever serviced a Barbarossa block? I have them on my Beneteau 38 - a double foot block on each side where the genny sheets turn in to the winches - and the bearings could do with some TLC. They have 4 allen key cap screws on top - they come out easily but nothing moves. There is also a large flat head slotted screw in the center - it turns easily either way but doesn't back out or tighten? Is there a nut underneath? I hope not because that means I have to cut the headliner.
I have learned that Harken bought the Barbarossa line may years ago, and will try to contact them.
