Anybody have any experience with Bamar jib furlers? We're considering one (model C0) for our Hunter 25.5. We sail on a midwest lake usually in wind less than 15 knots, mostly daysail, using a 150. TIA, Bill
I only have experience with CDI, but you should compare the price. CDI is easy to install, and works well on my C22 with a 150% genoa. It reefs well, even to a storm jib size and there's practically no maintenance. It's a very popular model on 22's and 25's around the western PA region.
when you consider the package deal from SailCare. 10% discount when the furler is purchased along with the mods to the jib. Total price for jib mods and furler ends up about the same as a CDI FF4 (~ $460 from CDI) with jib mods purchased separately.
