balsa thickness

I'm replacing the balsa core on the cockpit and deck on my s2 8.0A, what are the thickness of both?

why not just measure the distance between the two surfaces inside to inside and you will have the thickness..........

If you look at the hull to deck joint you will see that the joint itself is not cored. There is a transition. Besides that...once you start cutting you will know LOL. Drill a pilot hole. You will be taking a saw to it soon anyway so there is no use being overly cautious now.

Balsa core material in sheets with a woven thread backer is available. It's just a bit thinner than the original in my S2 27. Got it from Jamestown.
