I see Defender is running a special on the Balmar Smart Gauge. I bought mine on the similar sale last year and have found it useful. It is also recommended by Mainsail. If interested, here is a link.

Really? Can you point us to some of them? Considering that price is losing money (I am a Balmar stocking dealer so I know the actual cost) I have a hard time believing that others normally sell it for $260.00, unless it is a loss-leader sale that the company is trying to get folks in the door on.

Paid $290 during Defender's Spring sale in 2014 (sorry Maine, part of a much larger order for the season).
