Given that a new MC618 runs $530, I would pop for the extra and get a Zeus.
Where are you shopping? Defender has them for $328, with a harness which probably won't work. I built my own. If you buy the whole system, shunt, gauge, blue tooth, regulator and temp sensors, then yes it will be around $500-600. Greg already has the gauge and shunt, so he only needs the regulator and the BT dongle.

@dlochner not to mention the 618 has the exact same wiring to the alternator as the existing 614 which makes it real easy to replace one with the other.

The 618 is the same as the 614 with the addition of Blue Tooth. Wakespeed just released a Wakespeed pro that now has BT.

Marc,
Could the SG200 be not reading correctly? Maybe the software is corrupted and needs to be updated?

I was able to buy the BT dongle separately, after they came out, for my SG200. I had installed the 614 a few years earlier.
I installed the app on my phone and have done a few updates to the SG200 software over the past few years.
If I remember correctly, there have been seperate updates for the shunt, gauge and I think a third device. Maybe the dongle.

May be worth finding the dongle and updating the SG200 before putting out for the 618. Unless of course, that's what you really want for the new features it brings. I do.
