Hey All

I had a very successful two days working on my new-2-me Hunter 26 and wanted to share something that worked out very well.

On several occasions in the past, I have made small gaskets for the washers that snug up on swing keel bolts and I thought I'd try the same approach (but on a larger scale) for the ballast tank gasket. It worked surprisingly well. I took a few pics. Wish I had snapped an after pic after I removed the tape but you get the idea.

Make a dam out of masking tape around the circumference of the tank valve cover. Then fill it in with goop and let set for 24 hours. Remove the dam. Make sure you trailer is level. If your superstitious, use Frog masking tape like I did ;-)
