This weekend, I noticed that the engine compartment blower was not working on my 2002 B361. I opened the aft starboard locker (next to the helm seat) and I can see the blower deep in the bottom of the stern, but I can't reach it. The autopilot steering mechanism is in the way, too. Does anyone have any experience with getting access to the blower? Maybe if I remove the mattresses and plywood flooring in the aft stateroom and crawl?
Thanks for any ideas.

I did the upside down dive into the locker with a stubby phillips screwdriver. Was not a pleasent experience. Did not try to go through the aft stateroom but have had the plywood up several times and did not notice a way to do that. Of course I was not looking for an access hole. Could be worse .... could be under the propane locker! Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Ug. I take it your blower went bad, too. What brand did you replace it with? Thanks,

Yes it did, but cannot remember the brand. West Marine special ... maybe Jabsco ... not sure. Will check next time I am at the boat.
