I have a 1981 model 323 with a Volvo MD11C. Alternator looks orginal, but can't tell what it is, but it looks orginial. Any suggestion's for replacement or should I try to have it rebuilt.
I have a P323 with the MD11C engine. My alternator went out and I had it rebuilt. It was far cheaper than a new one. When I got it back from the rebuilders it looked new. They put in new diodes and bearings and it now puts out more amps than before.
