Getting our 28.5 for a season of racing, because of the swept back spreaders is a backstay adjuster needed? If I apply allot of backstay will it make the side stays go slack? Cliff
There is at least one discussion of backstays with swept spreaders over on the Brian Toss site(see Link below and go to "Spartalk"). But you can also pose the question there to Brian. He does mention that too much tension will do exactly as you feared, loosen the shrouds.
