I'm looking at installing a backstay adjuster on a 1983 25 Oday. At this time all that I have come up with is a 8 to 1 purchase block and tackle and am wondering if someone has found a adjuster that will fit the pin size on the chain plate and backstay. Pin size is 5/32 and I'm finding adjusters calling for 1/2. I had given some thought to enlarging the hole size in the chain plate and installing a larger end to the backstay to fit the adjusters on the market that I found.
