Can anyone tell me where to get information on seats that attach to the corner rails in back of the cockpit? Also would like some input on whether they are worth having. Thanks ahead of time

STERN SEATS

Al, I know this sound kind of crazy, but I made my own for $20. I made them out of white butcher block polypropolene about one inch thick. I cut them into triangles about 7 inches thick at the center and two inches on the ends. You can actually cut any size you want. The seat sits on top of the rail so I drilled holes about every inch and lashed it to the rail. It is really a professional looking installation and have had many people inquire about it. The thing I like is that it gets me up a lot higher and I can hold on to the split back stay. I really wouldn't want to be without it. Of course I drive with an autohelm. Have you considered small beanbag chairs? They mold to any position in any location, hold your butt well even when heeled and also support your lower back. I have two on my boat and love 'em! Remove about a third of the beans to improve comfort.
