Don't forget...

You also have to diconnect the wiring that runs up the mast for the antennas, radar, lights, etc. There should be access inside the boat at the mast step, hopefully with pull apart connectors already. Pretty easy though as long as you have access to a crane...

Took mine off last Friday

Dropped the mast on our 340 to repair damage at the top of the mast due to lightning strike. Mast was removed after the boat was put on the hard. Rope used to secure all the halyards/shrouds/furling gear, then made a loop to secure the mast while the lower outer shrouds were unpinned, and the forestay unpinned. All wires had already been disconnected inside, and pulled through the pipe. Lifting it up was simple but take care to ensure nothing gets caught or twisted.
