Anyone know of chart books, like those of Maptech, for B.C.? From the San Juans up to Port Hardy? Doesn't have to be Maptech, but waterproof and hopefully spiral bound.

There are several that are spiral bound but unfortunately I don't think you will find any that are waterproof. I will be watching this thread to see if any others reply differently.
Canadian Hydrographic Services have spiral bound but only up to and including Desolation Sound so only half helpful. They are listed as charts 3311, 3312 and 3313. These are official charts.
Evergreen Pacific publishing puts one out called Cruising Atlas but is for navigational help only or so it says. I do carry both of theirs.

I have theirs, too, Len. Handy for reference purposes, but not for navigation. EP has their office just down the street from where we live in Mukilteo. Or at least they did.
Thanks for the experienced information. Would it be possible that the lack of published info is due to electronic chart plotters like Garmin? Do people really need "books" anymore? I did find a "Marine Atlas" where Vol. 1 covers Puget Sound up to Bellingham Bay and Vol. 2 covers from there up to Juneau. These are about 35 years old!
For reference purposes only, not for navigation. Age of navigation charts do not matter much because actual changes happen very little over time. Charts provide the necessary detail needed as opposed to a spiral bound chart book, IMHO. Spoken from 20 plus years of cruising experience, FWIW.
