Spinnaker in a non-Spinnaker Class?
If I understand you, your question was "Can I use an asymmetrical spinnaker in a non-spinnaker race." If this is correct, what don't you understand about the word "non-spinnaker"? Typically, the notice of race or the sailing instructions will be more definitive than just saying non-spinnaker, (e.g., they will say no symmetric or asymmetric spinnakers, gennakers, staysails, or any similar sail where the luff is not firmly attached to the head stay along it's entire length or words to that effect), but non-spinnaker means non-spinnaker.
