Meaning of Avatar
Thanks Peter. Very interesting. Funny thing is that the word is used in French as well. It comes from the same Sanskrit Avatara and it originally meant the same thing. Over the years, the evolution of the French meaning however brought it to also mean something bad, or a misadventure. No need to say that I prefer Phil's avatars !
