Available Slips for 456 on WA Puget Sound?

Hi All! I have relocated from the east coast to the Seattle Area and am looking for an available slip for a 456. There seems to be many marinas with long waiting lists... I am a "returning" HOW member and sail the S/V Forever, which is still docked in Deltaville, VA and look forward to reconnecting with my old HOW acquaintances! If the Forever does not sell at the Anapolis Boat Show this year I will be having it trucked out west.Regards to all! -Jim-S/V Forever

Try Semiahmoo Marina in Blaine

Semiahmoo Marina is in Blaine, WA, and is close to the San Juans, a few hours sail from Sucia Is., the Gulf Islands, and is in an excellent sailing area. Just clear the sand spit and you're ready to go.Many of the slips in the Sound seem to be in the 36/40/44/48/&50 foot length increments and Semiahmoo has 44s and 50s. The last I heard was they have a waiting list on the 50-footers; however, there are some 44s available. The marina rule is "no overhang" over the dock or beyond the piling at the other end. Based on this the available length for a 44-ft slip then is about 45.5-ft or so, taking into account the piling diameter.For information, I've got one of the deep-water moorage 44s available in a really good location for $250/month which is $50 below the marina advertised rate. There is also a 48-ft slip available at the Poulsbo Yacht Club but membership is requried. If these are something that might be of interest drop me a line via the "Owner Directory" resource.
