Thanks to Roger Fairest we have a new addition to the Voyages page: "A
Cruise in Northern Europe, Part 1" We'll be looking forward to Part 2
Roger and thanks for the contribution!

In other news, Craig Hirt sent me the rest of the VODCA newsletter
archives which he had scanned and converted to Adobe .pdf files before
we left Honolulu. Sorry to say that the multiple file upload utility
for the web host is not working too well so I am having a difficult
time with uploading. Please be patient. There are 134 files and so far
I have been limited to uploading one at a time until I get this
problem worked out.

When completed, we will have all of the newsletters from 1990 to
present available on line.

Now if I could just find someone willing to provide the earlier
newsletters. Wouldn't it be great to have the entire collection
available and preserved in one place?

Aloha and Mahalo nui for your kokua Craig.

Fair Winds,

Hi Chuck,

I have old VODCA newsletters going back to 1984. I am unable to scan them
as I have an old computer system and still use dial-up. I would be willing to
send them to anyone who is up to the task. I would just need to know which
issues you still need, as you obviously have many of them already.

Brian here Chuck...I have access to a commercial scanner at work
that will save them to PDF file. Figure out what you are missing and
have Melanie ship the newsletters to you. Forward them to me and I
will scan and return the originals to you.

Hi Brian,

Wouldn't it save a step to send the newsletters directly to you? Or does
Chuck want to go through them first? I'll be happy to send them to either of
you. I could not bring myself to throw them out as they contained so much
information and history, but it will be nice to get them off the bookshelf!
Brian, Chuck, write to me off group with an address, and I will send them off
this week.
