Just got off the phone with my banker. It seems there are two ways
for International members to remit dues. The preferred way is to
obtain a bank draft in US$ from your bank. According to Bank of
Hawaii, the cost should be minimal, just the exchange rate quoted by
your bank. An alternative would be to calculate the exchange rate
yourself and send a check in your native currency or Euros for the
equivalent amount. The banker cautioned me that, in the latter case,
there will be processing delays and, due to fluctuations in the
exchange rates, I may wind up with more or less than the intended
amount. For the time being this is acceptable to me. Either way,
until I can establish the necessary legal entity in the State of
Hawaii and open a separate bank account, please make checks or drafts
payable to "Chuck Rose". The Postal address is:
