I am adding below deck autopilot ie raymarine s3g type 2 short. I may be able to do so by hanging from stbd cockpit floor just amidship from scupper in a fore-aft direction to an Edson 10in tiller but tolerances look tight esp past steering cable. Will this work? How have others done this? Should I reinforce floor? I would like any advise. Feel free to reply and/or email knowjo@blazenetme.net
