I'm looking for an autopilot for my S2-8.6'wheel steering. The Raymarine AV-100 seems to be the only game in town. I believe it has a chain drive which seems to me to be an awkward design. Has anyone had good luck with this unit? All input much appreciated.

I had a Raymarine S1 autopilot on my Catalina 30. I loved that unit and it preformed for over 8 years flawlessly once I had it installed. The drive unit looks like the same wheel pilot unit that I had.
I am not sure if you have the room but you could also consider a direct drive unit. More money but supposedly better results.
