Autopilot?

What is a good low cost autopilot for a 22ft boat I only use it on lake Texoma , I have been looking on eBay but I don't know what I am looking for

Ebay does have some. Try using the words "tiller pilot".

But check Defender's price on the Raymarine ST1000, too. ;)

For short trips down below to do what ever... You can use a tiller tamer.
I've seen a couple types and own the plastic one. (Not the best in my opinion.) I'd get the SS model that is more of a leaver type device. Find iboth on ebay.
This winter I picked up an old ST1000 that I haven't installed yet. ($150 in the original box with instructions and warranty card... The PO said it had been used... I can't tell.)

For my purposes I love my Simrad TP10. It's less expensive and works well.
We sail in Puget Sound (in many ways similar to Lake Texoma.)

It seems on our size boats people love the Raymarine ST1000, some even have remote controls s you can control the tiller from anywhere on the boat
