Autohelm ST50 problems on Hunter Vision

My recently purchased '92 Vision has the Autohelm ST50 depth, speed, and wind instruments. The speed unit seems to work fine. The depth unit has no power (screen is completely blank). The wind unit works intermittently (indicates direction and speed one minute, and no power the next minute). It's my understanding that the units are supplied power in a "daisy-chain" via a single connection from the panel (through a breaker)to a first unit, from the first unit to the second unit, and so forth. Since the speed unit works fine, I assume power from the panel is OK and that the speed unit is probably the first in the chain. There is also an Autopilot unit connected to the "bus", but I don't think that is the culprit because even with the head module disconnected, the speed unit still has power. Any suggestions??? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

You are correct about the power bus. I would check the back of the instument heads to see if you do in fact have power to each unit. Failing that, Raymarine Service Center has always been a help for me. 800 539 5539
