I contacted RayMarine and they do have these covers available for $10 each. However they ONLY ship overnight for $30. Is anyone interested in going in with me and buying these covers to lower our shipping cost? These are not heavy and I think shipping from me to you would be less than $2 each. If we ordered 10 covers, the cost would be $13 each plus shipping from me to you. Any takers?

I sent a 6 pound package to Texas by USPS cheapest rate

about 7 bucks and three days . There is no reason for anyone to be inflexible it their shipping methods unless they are profiting from the shipping charges.

Hi Rich, unless Raymarine had some special made...

covers, the only kind they have are gray and rectangular in shape rather than the original square white ones. I need two, plus one as a spare. Count me in if they match the original white square covers. Thanks. Terry

According to a Senior Customer Rep.....

Terry- The reply I got echoed my request for the white square ST50 original Autohelm covers. However I have just sent RayMarine a follow-up request to double check that these are in fact white and not gray. I have also sent a request to Defender to see if they can order the D123 covers. The Raytheon rep said that a dealer could order them but that the supply is limited and when they're gone, they're GONE. Stay tuned. So far only you and I want any, and that quantity is three (you) and two(me). This still works out to a lot of shipping cost for 2 oz of plastic.

Hi Rich, thanks for the follow-up...

If the rep confirms they are the white square originals then I'll bump my order to five if that helps matters. Perhaps others might chime in, too. Terry

Terry, They describe the covers on the

attached web page but no pictures. Rich, any chance they will let you pick them up at their "global sales headquarters" in Merrimack, New Hampshire ? If it's not too far from you tell them you are sending a "courier" and show up in a bicycle helmet at their "will call" desk. Their address : http://www.raymarine.com/Default.aspx?site=1&section=1&page=19

Hi Ted, last year when I went through...

WM to order the sun covers they thought they were getting the white square model, but alas the gray rectangular ones was what arrived. I declined to accept at $30 per cover. I'm still hopeful. Terry P.S. I'm thinking about fabricating my own out of starboard material.

How about some sunbrella and velcro. All you are trying to do is keep

these out of the sun and the weather. Easy enough to sew up some little covers with a strip on velcro inside.
