AutoHelm ST30 Replacement

I have an Autohelm ST30 with direct connections to the depth and speed sensors.
I would like to replace it with something that works.
I see that the Raymarine i40 only has connections for seatalk and a sensor, I can't tell which one.

any suggestions?

Alternately, as you note, you can wire your existing transducers to the new i40 display, using one of the 2 connection options.

A new i40 is $249 from West Marine.
When there is more money in the Kitty. I'll buy it.

At this stage of the game you may want to consider the I40 BiData display. It is the replacement for the ST40. Fits the same space. As far as I can determine it can use the old transducers.

Looking on the Raytheon website it appears the instrument with similar capability is the I50 Tridata.
priced around $600. The interface cables are different so I'll need an adapter to use the i60+ I got on Ebay
