need to replace my ray marine autohelm ST-50 PLUS speed unit. sent back to ray. no parts availible. anyone have a working one they would like to sell. dont want to go for two new units.

replaced my ST 50 transducer with this one from Airmar. its an ultrasonic and is slick.

this is what Airmar needed to have me do to determine the correct transducer
Almost all of the ST50 instruments used at Airmar ST600 speed/temp sensor. A few of them used at ST300 model. The CS4500 will only fit in place of the ST600 model. look into the bilge at the top of the transducer there are some distinct differences to identify the two sensors. The ST600 has the cable coming straight out of the top of the sensor and there would be a stainless steel pull ring through the plastic tab. The ST300 has it’s cable exiting at a right angle and the top of the cap has an arrow molded into it."
