Autohelm 1000 vs. ST1000 gearbox

On our possibly older (not sure of manufacture date) Autohelm 1000 we broke the main pinion gear connected directly to the electric motor.
Searching for parts online I mainly find gear replacement parts for the ST1000.
Will these parts work for the Autohelm 1000?
Is this the same unit? Does anyone know the difference between Autohelm 1000 and ST1000?

You might find a unit listed “for parts only” there or even a working unit for less than new parts
