Wed night race I put in the first reef and as the crew hauled the outhaul tight I noted the main furler was unravelling. The furling line (blue continuous) was locked in and I couldn't observe any slippage - I was at the helm and may not have been able to see it if it was occurring. Finally I moved the lever from "Free" to "Ratchet" on the furler and retighten the outhaul. When I looked a bit later the sail had unfurled again. I did not have to retighten the outhaul which makes me think I missed it unfurling when the outhaul was re-tightened. What is going on here?
