auto pilot
Daniel, I just finished installing a 6000+ in my 380. The most difficult part of the installation was pulling all the wires for the pilot, especially the wire from the electic panel to the course computer as with the length of the run, I used the recommended 6 gauge wire. The other part was running the wires into the helm console. The conduit the factory placed for the other wires was sealed with a sealant (?5200?). I ended up having to drill a 2" hole in the cockpit sole under the console and glassing in another conduit. I used PVC pieces from Home Depot to form a gooseneck and left a drip loop in the wires bundle to keep water out of the cabin. Once the wires were run, hooking everything up was easy and everything worked right off the bat. My total time was two weekends and one evening. Having an assistant to pull the wires was invaluable. Feel free to e-mail if further info needed.Paul Bednarzyk
