At an estate sale, I recently purchased a Mark 4 Automatic Pilot, manufactured by the Electric Auto-Lite Company of Dayton, Ohio, under license from the Sperry Gyroscope Company.
It seems to be in remarkably good shape. It's in a mahogany box, more or less a foot in all directions. There is a test record inside which states it was inspected by the maunfacturer in 1943--I assume that is when it was manufactered. Other than that, I know nothing about it, and can't find anything on Google. I think it is marine, rather than aeronautical, because the settings are for rudder, port, and starboard, but I'm not totally sure. Anybody know anything about this? Thanks!

Thanks! these don't look like what I've got, but I e-mailed them to see if they had any ideas.
