Hello all. Planning to install a new Raymarine EVO 100 auto helm and trying to plan for the best places to locate the control module and the compass unit.
Thinking of the control module in the cockpit locker against the bulkhead by the battery charger (although this locker is open to the engine compartment) and putting the compass unit in a near centerline galley locker.
Would like to know what locations have worked or not worked.
Any tricky parts to know about?
