August Middle Puget Sound

We plan to sail middle Puget Sound in the first half of August.
It makes great entertainment if you haven't tried it.

Think Port Townsend, Poulsbo, Port Orchard, Blake Island, Bainbridge Island (Eagle Harbor), Port Ludlow, possibly even Seattle (Bell Harbor) or Sequim Bay.

There are many more possibilities.
Anyone else???

If you are going to go as far as John Wayne marina at Sequim, you might consider the crossing to Victoria. It's only 20 miles and usually a beam reach with wind even in August. Great destination with the marina downtown. Fog can be a problem early in the morning, and check the tides closely. Sean Everett also.

Actually we don't know how far we get. We plan to meet up with my brother during part of the trip and they don't have a boat. My daughter (and her dog) want to come part of the time with us.

Yes it is, but we end up there often because our moorage is in Everett.
