No tips/tricks etc. as it really is straight forward, just connect the antenna power to somewhere (I connected mine to the Seatalk power but you could connect to the chartplotter) and connect 2 wires to the NEMA of the chartplotter. My biggest issue was dealing with the chartplotter power/NEMA cable because it was short and I ended up having to install a slice in it to make it longer so I could work on it. Be really to deal with the tiny tiny wires.
