I will be making a trip back to my marina (from Vermillion, OH)in June and wondered if anyone has any experiences/opinions about the marina on Middle Bass Island. Can a sailboat with a 5' draft get in. I've never stayed there so I am just curious as to one's opinion. Thanks in advance.

Middle Bass Island

A friend has just purchased a boat in Vermillion and sailed her back to Lake Huron. We stayed at Put-in-Bay on one of the Bass Islands (I think Middle Bass) and it is a lovely harbour. We had no trouble negotiating the harbour nor its approaches and in fact a 47' Beneteau was docked right astern. Hope this helps.
