If you covered your boat and have not checked it, you might want to go down have make sure it is ok. I have seen a few boat with custom and plain cover concave with snow and water.

Not much snow in NE this year so should not be a problem here. Anywhere south of Mass would be different though.

Good advice, Jim...

just drove past the boat today and saw that the 18 inches of snow that slid off the boom tarp onto the side decks has melted. There's still too much of a mess in the yard to want to track it into the boat to check if any of the melt found it's way inside. Earlier snow melt had not.

I went down to the marina after each of the storms..

I don't have tarps or a cover but I was really surprised how well on other boats how the tarps and covers held up. I would have expected them to fail from the stress of the weight and also the high winds. I think I learned my lesson and will cover mine next winter :doh:

There's been so little snow here this winter and the weather has been quite warm the last few days... so no snow at all on the boat.
