I recently took possession of this sailboat and have no information about it. I was hoping if I posted a few pictures someone would be able to tell me about it. The over all length is 7'6". I do have the sail and other items that came with the boat. Thank you.

One of the many FRP boats made through the years. Looks like a nice dinghy. Check the transom or the daggerboard well for a number in the Fiberglass. It might give you a clue to the manufacture.

Also, check for an insignia on the sail and perhaps a number which would help narrow the search.

:plus: Unroll the sail and post a photo of the insignia.

There are a lot of small dinghy built by home builders and regional builders. It may be a challenge to find more information.

That sail looks tired.... but your boat looks very nice. Congrats on a nice find.

Any info from the previous owner. I’d stast looking close to home. The first place would be the LA area. In the 60’s and 70’s there were a lot of boat builders turning out fiberglass boats. The sail insignia did not spark any possibilities with the major makers.

Someone had to make it. There could be a marking or engraving on the wood near the mast base.

That is a pretty little boat, and seems to have been well cared for. I'm surprised the previous owner of a boat like that didn't know its history. It looks like it could have been a home build, although much nicer than most. Most production boats since around 1970 have a plaque or molded in identification.

Let us know what you find out.
