Attching the Mainsail

I Folks,

I have a new to me P30, the mast and boom are buried under about a foot of snow. My question is how does one attach the main? I understand there are model specific methods to do so.

Main

Although there are different details to each model all basically work the same way:
You should do this on a calm day or with the bow turned into the wind.
-slide foot in the slot in the boom from forward to rear (if loose-footed, skip this)
-attach tack to mast
-attach clew to outhaul
-attach halyard to head
-remove track stop (if so-equipped)
-feed luff rope or slides in the mast track as helper slowly hoists halyard until luff is tight
-reinstall trackstop
-sail
