Rather Large Geese in our area... and if one or two choose a bimini to perch on they are very stubborn/insistant about returning to that boat even after been shooed away repeatedly.
And then there are the ospreys.... if they find a level mast head and decide to settle in tear apart their latest catch... !
Oh My Gosh. :(

The only thing worse than an Osprey tearing apart his prey is a vulture in his final defense mode. But at least the vulture would be too high up to feel threatened enough to display this behavior. Extra credit for the first person who knows what behavior I’m talking about. And double extra credit for the first person who knows how vultures keep cool. Hint: I’m not talking about them spreading their wings.

No extra credit since I had to look it up. All I can say is... gross.

But I must admit I have seen very small humans exhibit both behaviors. Also adults, in response to excessive alcohol consumption.

Gunni has it right, believe or not boats were made to sail the seas not sit at a dock. Get out here, its fun.

You and Gunni are right for sure. But the reality is that not everyone sails a lot. I actually hardly ever sail. I’d like to sail everyday but then reality and life get in the way. So far my system of bird deterrence seems to be doing the trick.
