attachment point for asymmetrical spinnaker

Curious if anyone has solved this problem already, I'm trying to figure out how to attach a block forward of the headstay on a 375 for an asymmetrical spinnaker. There is a (approx) 3/8" rod that is the axel for the bow roller but this is under (and aft) of the roller furling and there is a problem with the tack line going around the furling unit. I don't see any logical attachment points forward. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

You may have to add a padeye up front for your block. If you dod that just make sure that you add a stong backing plate and seal it well to avoid any possible water intrusion.Good luckCharlie

Tacker

If you use ATN's Tacker or parrel beads around your furled jib, this isn't a problem, as the tack of the asymmetrical attaches to the Tacker which in turn can slide up and down over the furled jib. The downhaul (tack line)is attached to the Tacker or tack of the sail and can then be run inside the pulpit rail through a snatch block attached to the toe rail and back to the cockpit. If you attach the line directly to the sail, you can play with it a little to fly the tack of the asymmetrical in front of your forestay.This is the way I have mine set up, and it works just fine- it even gybes well.
