Attaching boomvang to boom

Hello,
Another question - hopefully one day i will be able to give some advice back rather than always be asking for it.

The boat came with a boomkicker installed, but no fitting on the boom for a boomvang. I have a Kenyon E-section boom and looks like i can get a vang bracket from rigrite. Any thoughts on where to install this (as close as possible to the boomkicker attachment point?) or how easy this would be for someone who knows one end of a screwdriver from the other, but is no DIY genius?

Go to the boomkicker site and read the installation instructions. If you use a bale, the placement will be defined by the boomkicker's location....how else would it work? There's plenty of pictures to help you decide.
