how should i attach my new raritan phc to the floor of the bathroom. i threw the old pump out in the fall and can't remember how it was attached. the holes don't line up so i can't reuse them. can i use self tapping screws and tap into the floor?

They're lag bolts. Drill pilot holes that are a VERY tight fit for 'em. Use epoxy or another filler/sealant to fill the unused holes.

Hanger bolts
If you have a wood base for your head sole, try using broze hanger bolts. They are wood thread on one end and machine thread on the other. Epoy in the woodscre end and then mount the head using washers and lock washers under the nuts. I think this makes it easier to remove if necessary.

Peggie, You said use lags and drill a very tight
pilot hole for them. I would qualify that as it depends upon the wood species. With the softer woods pine, cypress, plywood, etc. I agree. But with the harder woods cherry, walnut, oak, ash and others a bit looser is better.
