Catalina 30' Tall Rig John Wayne Marina, Sequim, WA
So, upon startup I had three issues; no oil pressure, no tachometer and the water injection/exhaust connection was leaking. Spun the driveshaft at 2,000rpm with no discernable vibration, which is a very BIG improvement over the old engine/driveshaft alignment. The exhaust leak was just a matter of tightening fittings. Oil pressure was, I simply forgot to ground the sending unit and the Tachometer I had wired to the positive side of the coil when it should have been on the negative pickup. All fixed now.
