Bought an asymetrical spinnaker for my Hunter 306. Thinking about buying an ATN tacker that would run over my furled jib. Looking for feedback from some users of the ATN tacker. Is it worth the money? Has anyone experienced any wear issues to their furled jib from the plastic tacker running over it?

Rigged my Newport 30 to fly an asym and considered buying the ATN Tacker but decided to sail without one and see what problems I have if any. That was several years ago and have found no need to buy one. Depends maybe on how you attach the tack and whether you use a spinnaker halyard or genoa halyard. Give it a try and see. There are options to the ATN. Check out parrel beads too.

We also use one and it's great. Simple and no wear at all.
