Whatever type of boat it was, it would make great advertising
for the manufacturer.

Another example why not to "swim for it" if your boat isn't sinking. Luckily, these guys made it to shore before they got too tired or cold to keep going. If they hadn't made it to shore, (which obviously cut short any S&R that the CG might have been doing for them), the Coast Guard would have had a much easier time finding the boat than a couple of half-submerged bodies.
