Heading There Saturday by Train
The AC show included a couple of sailboats last year also. Winters Sailing Center exhibits the Beneteau & Catalina lines. Riverside Marina should show a Jeanneau or 2.
My sister & her husband, from the dark side, have asked me to check out the Chaparral 224 and the Cobalt 222. (They have a place on Lake George and I talked him into a Hobie 16 a couple of years ago - so all is not lost. And the bro-in-law & I have caught a whole lot of bass from their old Glastron over the years.)
They were at the NYC show in the Javits Center a couple of weeks back and narrowed their choices to these two. I am supposed to do some negotiating & if the price is right they will drive down from north Jersey with their checkbook. Someone's got to jump start this economy!

Going Saturday
It is a bit of a hike, but I think we are doing a day trip from Virginia. It is always fun to look at boats in the winter. I have gotten a little bit of work done on ours this winter, but it has been so cold it is tough to get much done at all.
Always good to see what is new. I did see Sail Annapolis is going to be there as well and the one guy John is always good to talk to as he seems to know just about every boat out there.
