would one know the most inexpensive way to frieght a 37ft yacht from florida to uk,was going to sail but unforseen circumstance dictates otherwise any info much appreciated any website or idea thanks mike
Mike,I have not used them, but have read a few accounts of people who have. There is one leaving Port Everglades in December and arrives South of France (La Rochelle) in January 05. That is as close as I think you will get with them.I have attached their website and read for yourself. Please respond on this site as I think it may be of interest to others.Ward
to bring my B361 from France to Ft.Lauderdale 3 years ago. At that time it was ~$10K, substantially cheaper than sending her by cargo or paying a captain to sail her. The bigest advantage was that the boat arrived intact, with mast and ready to sail. I understand they not only sail to La Rochelle (in the atlantic west coast of France) but also to Toulon (in the Med near Marceille).Great service.
I got a quote from them a couple of years ago to take an O'Day 37 from Newport RI to La Rochelle. I was floored. $7,500. You could not sail her on her own bottom for that.
