Atlantic Beach, NC Fishing Trip

We are coming down to Atlantic Beach in mid-July for a family vacation and are planning to charter a fishing boat and spend a day on the Atlantic. Usually, we have about four guys who go in together for the day charter. This year, we are two guys short.I am a novice sailing fan, and am planning on buying a Catalina 25' next year. So I would love to spend a day fishing and talking sailboats. If anyone here is interested in going in with us on a charter, post here or email me.

Wish I could.

We spend time every year there and used to charter small sailboats at the Sail Place. It was right at the island end of the bridge from Morehead City, on your left driving out. Last year it was out of business!For lots of sailboats and sailors drive over to Beaufort. A fun time is to kayak(next to the maritime museum) up the creek among all the cruisers at anchor. Then there is Oriental, a short drive and ferry ride, maybe the mecca of sailing. Have a great time.
