so I keep getting water in the bilge under the aft bunk. I revealed the speedo and the depth sounder thinking I had the problem licked. I did not fix it. I checked all around under the aft berth and can't see a leak. Any ideas??????

There is water trapped under the cabin sole and there should be a drain hole into the bilge.

What kind of boat is it?
Is it inboard or out?
Is the boat in fresh or salt water?
Is the water in the boat fresh or salty?
How much water is getting in? A gallon a week, a few cups a month, etc.

The boat is in fresh water and in for about 6 months a year.
The water looks a little brown which leads me to think it is either old or has gone through some wood. I would suspect about a gallon of water per day.
Where would this drain hole be?

A gallon a day? :-0 That's a large quantity of water to be coming in with the boat at rest.
If it's an inboard engine, the stuffing box would be an immediate suspect.
Otherwise might be a broken hose at a seacock. If it freezes in winter where you are(I don't know where you are) then a hose may have burst or popped off the seacock a little.
If the water is dark it may be rust - check the bilge above the keel.
If it's coming in at rest, consistently a gallon a day, then it's not coming through the decks, so no wood to pass through, unless you have a less encountered cored hull.
