I run a downhaul line under the pin on my bow roller. The line runs up to a ATN Tacker on the furled Jib. This allows for the tack of the spinnaker to be out in front of the forstay and be adjusted depending on my angle to the wind. This allows me to sail at a much lower angle and keep the spinnaker full.I'm going to order an asymmetric spinnaker for my H31, but I don't know where I should secure the tack on the deck. The sail maker suggest me to use the bow roller. Please comment.
