The spinnaker halyard will always need to be ahead and above the jib halyards. No matter the boat. Because the sail rides ahead and outside the upwind sails. If it's a fractional rig, where the forestay attaches to the mast somewhere below the tippy top, you can mount a good quality rotating block directly to the mast. With a masthead rig, where the forestay will attach at the very top, often mirrored to backstay, you might need an extension(crane) on the masthead fitting to get the spinnaker halyard block out ahead of the forestay.... especially with a roller furling headsail or a spinnaker dousing sock.
I've always preferred an external spin halyard. Easier for foredeck crew to set and "jump" the halyard. Less chance to affect preexisting internal mast rigging and wiring.. Finally, it's just easier to set up.. i.e no cutting. keep everything at the mast,
