Any women Sailors?

Hello everyone,

Thank you for the membership to the group.

I hope this message is allowed. Besides, sharing ideas and advice, another reason I joined is for camaraderie. I am female and have been sailing since the mid 1970's. ( I am high spectrum autistic )I enjoy the advice and company from all. However, it would be an added plus to find a woman or two or three, to interact. My home port is Lake Erie ( West and East Harbor - Port Clinton, Ohio ). However, I started out on Hoover Reservoir on a home made wooden sailboat my father built for me. He gathered the plans out of either Popular Mechanics or Popular Science Magazine. I still own my first sailboat. She is in like new condition sitting all cozy, within my buggy barn ( nice and dry ). I've move up in price and size of vessel over the years. I now own several. And have gone so far to have sailed portions of the pacific and Atlantic, but no further.

My Vessels:

my father's 14 ft home made sun fish styled wood boat
1966 sunfish
n.a.c.r.a. 5.2 catamaran
1976 South Coast Seacraft 22
Thistle
Luger Tradewinds 26
1977 - 27 ft Hunter Cherubini
2 dinghies
Bic wind surfer

I have always pretty much been a solo sailor except for a portion of my life, where I was once married. I am now, once again, a "Solo gypsy sailor - Isskrä ~ Lietuvä"

Sincerely Isskrä
